My name is Marques Hoglund and I am the face behind Eighteenmile Fly.
My fly fishing journey has taken me all over the place. It started in the pristine spring creeks of the Iowa Driftless. From then on I have been completely addicted to catching any and all species on a fly rod. From steelhead and salmon on the Bois Brule of Wisconsin, coveted native brook trout and wild pink salmon of the North Shore of Minnesota, bass and pike on countless lakes and rivers, and finally wild brown trout in the wild rivers of northern Wisconsin, I have done it with a fly rod in my hand.
This burning passion of catching fish on a fly rod directly translates to the products I produce at the vise. I pay close attention to detail on every fly that I tie so that you the angler can have the utmost confidence in the flies that are tied onto the end of your tippet.
